Overflow parking is available at Grassy Lake Elementary after school hours.

        Important information is as follows:

1.       The school parking lot is always under video surveillance.

2.       Use of the school parking lot is available ONLY when the signs are placed outside of the park and school parking lot indicating it is open for park users. The lot may not always be available, due to after school events and therefore anyone parking in there may get locked in after the school event is over.

3.       All vehicles MUST be removed from the lot by park closing hours or they will be locked in until staff arrives to open the park or the next day of school. Lake County Sheriff and Parks & Trails staff will NOT assist with vehicles that have been locked in after the park closes at 10:00PM and the gates are locked.

4.       Please Park in the designated spaces ONLY. DO NOT park in the grass, on or along the roads, on the sidewalks, or in front of the gates. You will be cited and/or towed at your expense.

5.       Please keep the area clean and do not dump trash or litter.

6.       The speed limit is 5 MPH in the park and at the school per county ordinance and is strictly enforced.

7.       Anyone causing issues at either site will be trespassed from both the school and park permanently.

8.       Reminder that parking is always going to be limited, and you should encourage carpooling or walking to the park to reduce pressure on parking.

9.       Confrontations with park staff over parking will result in an immediate trespass.
